Ada Street’s chic candlelit space with New American cuisine and craft cocktails was made for cozy, intimate micro wedding dinners. Their private dining room seats up to 16 guests with seatings available any time Tuesdays through Thursdays and at 5 PM and 8 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
You can also book the room for the entire evening without any limits on timing for a room rental fee and larger food and beverage minimum.
Bixi Beer
Bixi Beer is a modern brewpub with incredibly modern, dun design offering Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine located in Logan Circle. They have several private dining options perfect for a micro wedding including The Lounge (up to 20 guests,) The Green Room (up to 40 guests,) and The Atrium (up to 80 guests.) You could also rent more than one room or cut down on your guest list as use one of the spaces for both ceremony and reception. Our favorite space in the restaurant is their second floor: it includes an atrium with a retractable glass roof (making is perfect for a micro wedding in ANY season,) an outdoor terrace with white marble accents and real, live greenery for the feeling of summer all year round!
Tied House
Tied House is a modern take on mid western comfort food with an elevated atmosphere. Whether you choose the gorgeous fireplace garden or the completely customizable private bar upstairs, there truly is something for everybody. (Especially those couples wanting to preserve that hometown pride, showing their out of town guests a taste of that midwestern cuisine and hospitality!) The restaurant offers four spaces to choose from: The Loft (up to 80 guests,) The Dining Room (up to 45 guests,) The Bar (up to 40 guests,) and The Courtyard (up to 65 guests.)
Gibson’s Italia
Gibson’s is a Chicago classic so I’m sure it’s not the first you’re hearing of it but we couldn’t leave it off our list! It’s a classic for a reason, after all. With incredible views of the Chicago skyline, superior food including arguably some of the best Italian in the city and world class service, Gibson’s is an obvious choice for those couple’s wanting something sophisticated and classic-Chicago. This restaurant has two private dining options: The Rooftop which offers panoramic views of the city, a retractable roof for the colder months and a fireplace for impeccable ambiance. This space holds 60 seated. The second space is The Boardroom which is a semi private room on the Mezzanine level overlooking the Chicago river. This space holds 24 seated.
Beatnik on the River
If you’re looking for something with a fun and vibrant atmosphere already designed to the nines then we recommend checking out Beatnik on the River. Views of the Chicago river can be seen from both inside and outside the restaurant with fun cocktail offerings and extensive menu options for you and your guests. They have three different spaces to choose from that can be set up in different ways to accommodate your group size anywhere from 14-72 guests.
