Color, warmth and good food: the perfect makings of a micro wedding, if you ask us! This beautiful couple decided to celebrate their marriage with a small ceremony and intimate dinner party with their close family and friends at Iron Gate in Washington DC. We were so honored to be a part of their celebration as this couple is as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside!
You may have noticed that the couple’s color palette is very similar to that of Tiny Wedding Co’s brand- this was completely accidental but we’d be lying if we said we didn’t absolutely love it! We love when our couples think outside of the box and go with big, bold design that speaks to their personalities and their love for one another. They incorporated sentimental details for their table numbers, simple yet impactful bud vases and taper candles for their long reception tables and a super fun and bold sweetheart table for themselves.
Their small ceremony was filled with big emotions and lots of joy. They danced their way through their recessional as husband and wife while their loved ones waved ribbons to help them celebrate. Their guests enjoyed specialty cocktails designed by the couple while they took photos in and around Dupont. The reception began with a thoughtful and heartfelt welcome toast and the merriment continued through dinner with a delicious meal by the brilliant team at Iron Gate.
