D+E | Washington DC Summer Micro Wedding at The Patterson Mansion

Last week we had the honor of photographing Damian and Ellie’s vow exchange and champagne toast at our newest partner venue, The Patterson Mansion! The Mansion, once owned by socialite Eleanor Josephine “Cissy” Patterson, has hosted presidents and pioneers, from President Calvin Coolidge to aviator Charles Lindbergh. Located directly on DC’s iconic Dupont Circle and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Patterson Mansion is a wonderful option for intimate gatherings and tiny weddings with three different spaces to choose from, including an outdoor balcony. The bar in the ballroom is super romantic while the library gives off more of a modern vibe with views of Dupont. They also have a gorgeous, light filled kitchen which would be a lovely spot to host a brunch or luncheon wedding. All of the spaces open to the foyer which is perfect for ceremonies, vow exchanges, and cocktail hours!
