N+N | Washington DC Front Porch Micro Wedding

Last week we had the honor and privilege to photograph Natasha and Nick’s front porch zoom wedding at their home in Georgetown. Because of covid-19, The District of Columbia is now offering courthouse weddings via zoom with the ability to have your friends and family stream the vow exchange. The clerk even let the couple keep the line open for a few minutes after the ceremony to allow their “guests” to send them well wishes and give a toast. Even though The Tiny Wedding Shop was in business long before the pandemic began, technology and the strength of the human spirit never ceases to amaze us! We feel so lucky that our couples trust us with these monumental moments even if their wedding isn’t exactly how they imagined it pre-virus.
