Meridian Hill Park Micro Wedding Engagement Portraits in DC

This stylish and fun couple celebrated their upcoming micro wedding in Washington DC with engagement portraits at Meridian Hill Park this past March with their photographer, Sydney! We absolutely LOVE it when our couples opt in for an engagement session because it gives them a chance to 1. meet their photographer ahead of time and 2. practice in front of the camera before their big (tiny) wedding day! By meeting your photographer at your engagement session, they’re able to get to know you as a couple so that they can best guide you through your portraits on your wedding day! This will also help you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera, especially if you typically tend to shy away from having your photo taken or if this is the first time you’re working with a professional. By the time the wedding day comes, you’ll be cool as a cucumber and won’t even realize your photographer is there! As far as timing goes, most of our couples schedule their engagement session about three months before their micro wedding. (But be sure to inquire much sooner, as our photographers book up quickly!) Once booked, we’ll share location suggestions based on the vibe and feeling they’re going for and even share styling advice if you need help!
