C+R | Washington DC Fall Micro Wedding at The DC War Memorial

We had the honor of getting so many beautiful couples married this fall! With the pandemic still wreaking havoc on the wedding industry and couples wanting to tie the knot alike, it makes these small gatherings even more special and important. Colby + Renee chose the DC War Memorial as their backdrop which is one of our favorite outdoor venues that is rain (and covid!) friendly. The tall marble columns echo The Jefferson Monument’s style but without all of the tourists milling about. The couple got lucky with an unseasonable warm day, beautiful color-changing trees and a gorgeous sunset. The couple had their family and friends share readings at their intimate ceremony and ended the day with sunset portraits on The National Mall.
