Built in 1903 for Elinor “Nellie” Medill Patterson, the mansion was the vision of famed architect Stanford White. Over the years, it has welcomed presidents, hosted dignitaries, and even served as a temporary home for Calvin and Grace Coolidge in 1927 while the White House was under renovation. Today, it stands as one of the last grand mansions encircling Dupont Circle with its elegance perfectly preserved and ready to host your micro wedding.

Meanwhile, the kitchen serves as the behind the scenes hub. Patterson Mansion works with The Taberd Inn for catering, but if you have another caterer in mind you are welcome to bring them in for a fee. The venue also provides chairs and tables, taking a bit of planning pressure off your shoulders.
