Carlyle House + Ambar on Capitol Hill - A Perfect Micro Wedding Setting

This past summer our team was fortunate enough to help this beautiful couple celebrate their marriage with an intimate ceremony at Carlyle House in Old Town, Virginia followed by a fun and joyful candle-lit micro wedding dinner reception at Ambar on Capitol Hill.

We absolutely love both of these venues! Carlyle House is set in a beautiful garden with lush greenery and a stunning balcony overlooking the property, both acting as a great back drop for both a ceremony and portraits afterwards!

Ambar on Capitol Hill has a few different spaces fit for a micro wedding but this couple chose our favorite - the rooftop - which matched the couple’s pastel color palette perfectly! Ambar actually has a few different locations in the DMV - two in Washington DC (Shaw and Capitol Hill) and another in Arlington, Virginia! The food is always so delicious and presented with big, bold colors! Most of their dishes are family style which is a great way to serve your guests if you’re wanting that long-table, dinner party feel, like this couple!
