Vibrant, Floral Focused Fathom Gallery Micro Wedding in Washington DC
It was such an honor to plan and coordinate Maddie and Zach’s vibrant and colorful micro wedding at Fathom Gallery in Washington DC this past October! As you probably know by now, here at Tiny Wed Co, we give couples the freedom to be themselves and we love the way this spectacularly beautiful couple didn’t let the autumnal season get in the way of planning a tiny wedding full of big, bright and bold design. They chose a pink, orange and yellow color palette with stand-out floral designs like their bloom-heavy ceremony arch and a fun and funky table scape with modern glassware and marble and gold flatware.
While the design was a maximalists dream, they kept everything else nice and simple to allow for time spent with their closest family and friends. They got ready at The Viceroy around the corner so that they could simply walk to their venue without worrying about the stress of transportation or a tight timeline! They saw each other for the first time on the roof deck of Fathom Gallery followed by some portraits in and around Logan Circle.
The weekends forecast predicated rain and so while the ceremony had to be moved in doors, our team with the help of the venue and catering, was at the ready for a seamless room flip during cocktail hour. The rain stopped for guests to enjoy drinks and bites beyond the tent and then were escorted in for dinner where they were “wowed” by the transformation! The couple enjoyed their dinner with a few toasts, delicious food and a super sweet cake cutting ceremony.
Getting married at Fathom Gallery? We’d love to help you plan and coordinate your Washington DC micro wedding!
