M+M | Washington DC Micro Wedding at The Kennedy Center + The Reach

When I say it poured on Maggie and Mike’s wedding day, I’m not being hyperbolic: it was torrential rain for pretty much the entire day but these two took it in stride. Their go-with-the-flow attitude put their focus on what really mattered: their love for one another, their friends + family by their side, their adorable pup, and getting married. And instead of having their ceremony beneath the awning of The Kennedy Center, their rain back up plan, they kept their original plan: in a beautiful patch of purple flowers in the middle of The Reach standing beneath clear umbrellas held by their guests. These photos taken by Margaret, one of our in-house photographers, are absolutely magical despite the grey skies and rain drops and we are over the moon for this amazing couple.
