We’ve spent years researching and building relationships with venues in DC and Chicago who either specialize in smaller, more intimate weddings or have specific rental packages just for couples planning a micro wedding.
Instead of getting stuck in a ballroom that echos with only thirty guests (and a price tag to match) we have a curated list of micro wedding venues in both cities that all of our booked couples get access to. From restaurants to museums to boutique hotels and roofdecks, there truly is something for every style and every budget. And if you don’t see something you love on the list, we’ll help you find something that you do love!
WE ARE CRAZY ORGANIZED HUMANS
No, really. Our founder has been working in the wedding industry since 2012 and has used her years of experience to come up with a process that not only keeps our team running smoothly but she’s built an internal checklist that keeps our couples up to date with their to dos in a way that relieves stress and the mental load. We are a well oiled machine that makes space for customization and the uniqueness you bring to your DC or Chicago micro wedding.
HOW AN ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE SKIRTS EXPENSIVE VENDOR MINIMUMS
The hardest part about planning a micro wedding is that couples still find themselves stuck choosing between a cheap but inexperienced vendor or an experienced but expensive vendor.
We include a day of coordinator, photographer, officiant, florist and baker all in one package. This enables you to skirt individual high minimums while still getting a really talented vendor team. (Don’t believe us? Take a look at all of our real weddings here!)
The package also solves the decision fatigue problem that often comes with planning a wedding. Having to research and sift through multiple proposals and contracts for each vendor before booking takes up so much time and energy. By booking our All Inclusive Package, you have five wildly talented vendors on ONE contract. That’s one retainer and one point of contact so you can continue enjoying your engagement together.
WHAT ABOUT THE VENDORS THAT ARENT INCLUDED?
A lot of our couples bring in additional vendors like hair and makeup, music or transportation. It can feel overwhelming to search through a pool of vendors in big cities like DC and Chicago where the options seem endless. Since we’ve been doing this a long time, we know who is worth your research and who isnt. All of our booked couples get access to our preferred vendor list that includes vendors for everything you could imagine: rentals, live music, guest experience etc Of course, you’re not required to use vendors from our list but all of our couples remarked how helpful they found it when selecting their vendors.
