Fashion Forward Fall Themed Micro Wedding at The DC War Memorial

It’s the shoulder seasons where Washington DC really shines on a wedding day and fall is no exception! Angel and Andrew chose to celebrate their marriage with an intimate, fashion forward, fall themed micro wedding at The DC War Memorial in October just a few short weeks ago. The couple really leaned into the fall backdrop with a deep orange, maroon, terracotta and cream color palette for their floral designs and their bridal party wear. The bride had her dress handmade in the Philippines with big, puffy sleeves and a high slit to show off her personal style while the groom wore a burgundy and maroon colored tux paired with an fall inspired boutonniere. The couple chose to celebrate their marriage with Catholic and Philippine traditions for their wedding ceremony followed by a ceremonial cake cutting, a champagne toast and portraits on The National Mall with the Washington monument in the backdrop, along the reflecting pool and in front of The Lincoln. We were overjoyed to work with this couple and we’ll be looking at their beyond gorgeous wedding photos for years to come!
