Once a 20th century neoclassical church built in 1912, The Line DC is now one of DC’s most dynamic boutique hotels and a breathtakingly stunning venue for micro weddings. Instead of erasing its past, the hotel embraces it. Original architectural features like vaulted ceilings, arched windows, copper entry doors, repurposed pews, and the original pipe organ turned chandelier are kept to honor the space’s roots while adding a new, modern energy. The grand front steps of the former church remain intact and now double as the perfect (and covered!) photo op for rain or shine.
Inside, you’ll find 220 beautifully designed rooms and suites, each filled with extremely thoughtful touches: locally made and sourced furniture, micro libraries curated by Idle Time Books, custom made brass features, and ceiling to floor windows that give you perfect lighting for all your photos. Throughout the hotel are more than 3000 pieces of art which are majority made by local DC artists and about 90% by women.

One standout option is the Monument Suite. This is a showstopper of a space that has a 1,300 square foot terrace that runs the full length of the hotel. It can be used for a private dinner for up to 16 guests or a full ceremony and reception of 60 guests. The monument suite has indoor + outdoor flexibility, ceiling length windows, and the best views of the city.
Lyra and Lynx Rooms
Looking for something a little different? The Lyra and Lynx rooms give a fresh, light filled vibe for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions. With mid-century leather details and easy access to the hotel's many amenities, the Lyra and Lynx rooms feel cohesive while giving your celebration diversity on its day.
Vela Rooftop
